Dr. Cameron Mustard helped bring the XXII World Congress on Safety & Health at Work to Toronto, bringing global attention to the changing world of work and the importance of improving working conditions. He also credited the Toronto Convention Centre team for the calibre of its people and their support in preparing for the congress.
The Story
Dr. Cameron Mustard saw the World Congress on Safety & Health at Work as part of a global effort to improve working conditions for people around the world. With the theme “Prevention in the Connected Age,” the congress would examine how information and communication technologies were rapidly changing work, making some jobs obsolete while creating new economic opportunities.
Bringing that conversation to Toronto also meant working closely with the local convention team to prepare for the congress. Mustard said he and his colleagues had been exceptionally impressed by the calibre of the people they worked with at the Toronto Convention Centre and described the collaboration as a great pleasure.
